  • Property is located in the gated Echota community. Guests have access to both of Echota Resort's clubhouses, including indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub (not at the home but in the clubhouse), two fitness centers, game room, event spaces, walking trails, outdoor sports recreation area, riverside park, Watauga River Trout Fishing, and in-club catch & release fishing at either of two stocked ponds.
  • Many photos on this web listing reflect Echota amenities, which are available for guests' enjoyment but are not physically located at Mayway Retreat. For more information, visit www.EchotaNC.com.

Fees and Payments

  • All Echota homes have an additional amenity fee of $15/day, capped at $70 total for your stay. If you are staying more than 5 nights, please reach out to us so that we can manually cap this fee.

Parking Information

  • There is a strict limit of two (2) cars parked at the property. Additional vehicles may be parked at the indoor pool/clubhouse just a short drive away. Do not park more than two cars at this home.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Well-stocked kitchen with cooking basics, dishes, silverware, microwave/convection oven, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, dishwasher, and high-speed internet available.
  • Clothes washing machine, clothes dryer, and ironing board & iron provided.
  • There is a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and bed linens will be provided.
  • A hair dryer is provided.
